Business Services provides a variety of services and manages units including Procurement & Strategic Sourcing, Disbursements & Travel, OneCard Service Center, and Mail & Central Receiving. The One Card Service Center provides building access, room access, parking access, and off/on campus retail payments when used as a debit/cash card.
Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) is a way of improving our processes to enable us to achieve our strategic goals and attain our vision of becoming THE Model of Service Excellence. It utilizes proven methods and tools, is data-driven, and implemented by individuals and teams closest to the customer experience.
Facilities Planning and Management (FPM) provides a safe, attractive, functional and well-maintained campus by maintaining and repairing all of the University's owned and some of the leased buildings, managing its deferred maintenance and maintaining the campus grounds.
Fiscal Operations/Finance is responsible for financial management, accounting and reporting, assuring that the University's fiscal practices comply with relevant policies, rules and regulations.
Human Resources oversees the identification, recruiting, development and retention of University employees. Additionally, the Human Resources unit is responsible for the administration of the employee compensation plans, development and benefit programs.
Planning Assessment & Innovation provides strategic leadership and support services relative to planning, assessment, technology systems and applications, and data analytics, to support the achievement of FBO's mission, vision and strategic goals.
Risk Management maintains the University's banking relationships, manages the cash pool investments, completes new debt issuance activities and monitors outstanding debt. The unit also conducts the investment and financial administration activities for the University and Foundation endowment funds and planned gifts.
